Safar mobile application is designed to help refugees find information about the NGOs working near them. The application provides all the necessary information such as the operating hours and details of the services the NGO offers. The application helps the refugees to contact the NGOs through Whatsapp. From the information provided on the NGO web-portal, the admins update the very details on the Safar application.

Our Challenge
The challenge was to implement a multilingual platform that supports both English and Arabic, All UI elements, text labels, and contents need to be managed in both languages seamlessly.
Our Solution
To solve this problem we developed a mobile application that supports the Arabic language on Android mobile devices. The UI was designed with an intent to keep it clean and self-explanatory, that the refugees can use it easily. Using the GPS module of the device the application helps the refugees locate the nearest available NGO. The filters are designed based on categories and services to make the search easy and pin-point. Django admin module is used to develop the dashboard for admins to manage the content and NGO details in the application.
